Our Mission

We firmly believe addiction is a treatable disease. As an organization we strive to be on the forefront of all aspects of treatment for all people suffering from the devastating effects of substance use disorders. As an organization we intend to be the voice for all of those whom society believes to be voiceless.

We are committed to client-centered and effective practices to ensure our treatment is geared toward sustained recovery from addiction. We rely on our Core Values to provide the best quality treatment to our clients and their families. These Core Values are:

We only employ professionally trained mental health intervention and substance abuse counselors. Our Masters and Doctoral level therapists provide quality care in most treatment modalities, including group, individual, and family psychotherapies. We are also capable of meeting the behavioral health needs of clients through an integrated, trauma-informed , and multidisciplinary team approach including a psychiatric nurse, social worker/licensed mental health counselor, and psychiatrist.

  • The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) estimates that 570,000 people die annually due to drug use.
  • Smoking a pack of 20 cigarettes a day cuts ten years off a person’s life.
  • Drinking two or more alcoholic drinks every day cuts 23 years off a person’s life.
  • Chronic drug use cuts 20-43 years off a person’s life.
  • Twenty-three million Americans age 12 or older suffer from alcohol and drug addiction.
  • More than 15 million of those are dependent on alcohol, roughly 4 million are dependent on drugs, and the rest are dependent on both.
  • Individuals suffering from alcohol misuse are approximately 10 times more likely to commit suicide than those who do not misuse alcohol, and people who abuse drugs are at about 14 times greater risk for eventual suicide.
